FEEL THE MAGIC OF THE FUTURES PAST (LIMITED EDITION PRINT)

This piece draws half of its inspiration from the film "Goodbye Charlie Bright" and reflects the essense of British youth culture growing up on London council estates during the 90s/ 2000s. The film captures a raw, unfiltered essence of life during that era, embodying a spirit of camaraderie, rebellion, and youthfulness that seems to be lacking in today's landscape.

I aimed to encapsulate the magic of that time, which was defined not only by the music and fashion but also by the unmistakable scents and flavours that lingered in the air. The anthems of the era provided a soundtrack to our lives, while the styles we wore expressed our identities and aspirations. The clattering of old cars and the lively chatter in the streets painted a vivid picture of community and connection.

In this artwork, I wanted to transport viewers back to those days, evoking feelings of nostalgia and warmth, reminding us of the beauty found in simplicity and shared experiences. It's a tribute to a time when life felt more organic, infused with spontaneity and a sense of belonging, celebrating the magical moments that shaped our youthful spirits.
